In what purities is zinc available?

Our zinc product range covers a broad spectrum of purity levels, meeting the requirements of diverse laboratories and development departments. Commercial grades start at 98% and are suitable for less purity-critical syntheses and technical applications. We also offer purities of 99.95%, 99.99%, and 99.995%, which are in demand for analytical and material science purposes.

For particularly demanding applications in semiconductor research or thin-film technology, grades up to 99.999% (5N) and 99.9999% (6N) are available. Depending on the purity level, container size and availability vary; some high-purity products are supplied with individual analysis certificates upon request. What forms of zinc does ChemPUR offer?

Zinc is available in our product range in a variety of physical forms, allowing you to directly obtain the optimal product form for your application. As a powder with a grain size under 65 micrometers, zinc is particularly suitable for reactive syntheses and reduction reactions. Granules in the 1–5 mm fraction and pellets in 3 × 3 mm and 6 × 6 mm formats are ideal for electrochemical experiments and evaporation applications.

The offering is rounded off by pieces under 20 mm and pellets in 25–30 mm size for larger-volume processes.
